Post-IWFF Summary Letter
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
As the week of IWFF draws to a close, I feel compelled to thank each of you for the tremendous contributions and inspiration you provided over the past week — some are measurable, others have simply put each of us on a path that will hopefully lead us in new and innovative directions for the good of the planet. But this year, on our 35th anniversary, I could not let the week pass without truly thanking each of you who was a part of IWFF. In many ways, even for myself as the director, each day of the festival felt truly significant – inexplicably powerful and passionate in each person’s desire to make a difference in what happens to species and habitats. There was an interest and an energy; a sense of great caring and desire to do something more about that which we all care so much about. And I think this past week showed so clearly that each and every person who was part of IWFF is committed to making a difference whether it is through film, wildlife field work, philanthropy, education or in some other related way.
